Tokyo Olympics are postponed to 2021. How does that effect Auburn? Take a look

For a few quiet days, the news has been buzzing that the 2020 Olympics are now the 2021 Olympics due to threats of the coronavirus. That word coronavirus just sickens your stomach when you see it. I’m a little tired of it. But how does this effect Auburn in anyway? Well you see, if you know who Anthony Schwartz is, it effects him. Anthony Schwartz is a receiver on Auburn’s football team. But he’s also a track star. There was news that wasn’t heard very much after Auburn’s loss in the Outback Bowl to Minnesota. Apparently Schwartz told the reporters following that game, he’s pursuing his dream of being in the Olympics. He said if he made the Olympics, which was very likely, he’d probably stop playing football. But if he didn’t make it, he’d probably stop track. So, with no Olympics to try out for, does this confirm that Schwartz will return? The chances are really good. But right now, let’s all hope and pray that the virus suddenly dies down at a rapid rate so that we can enjoy a football season and getting out and about again.
