When should we expect Cam Newton to sign?

Cam Newton is an Auburn legend. Everyone knows that. The biggest question facing him in a long time is where will he sign in the NFL? His team, the Carolina Panthers, released him after 9 years. Apparently the Panthers had other plans and Newton wasn’t happy. So will he get another shot and when will it happen? Well, here’s what I know. Multiple teams rejected trades involving Newton. The New England Patriots are taking a hard stare at him. The Denver Broncos are probably the sleepers to land him. Newton hasn’t said anything regarding teams interested in him but he’s very “hungry” for another chance. I think we’re looking at a few different time tables here. He could sign any second now. He might be in talks right now with a team. Which would mean a deal probably tomorrow or the day after. I feel like any day now will be most likely. Then again, it could be weeks. If you’re a Cam Newton fan, you really don’t want this thing I like to call, the Dez Bryant scenario, to happen. Dez Bryant was a star receiver for the Dallas Cowboys. But in April of 2018, he was suddenly released. The guy was a star and people were going crazy over where he might sign. But guess what. No one signed him that year. He was signed a year later but by then, Dez Bryant was a nearly forgotten name. That’s what could happen to Cam Newton. It’s unlikely, but it was also unlikely for Bryant to not get signed. But, overall, expect Newton to be signed in a matter of days. That seams most likely. War Eagle! #AUNextLevel
