We all love Shaun Shivers. He’s a fantastic running back but there’s something a little odd about him. He’s 5’7. He’s really short. But Shivers has proved size doesn’t always matter as his signature plays are knocking the snot out of taller defenders. His by far best play in his short career was when he knocked the helmet off of All-American Alabama safety Xavier McKinney for the touchdown that gave Auburn the lead in the Iron Bowl last year. Out of high school, Shivers was featured in a video by Sharpe Sports, a very popular recruiting channel on YouTube, and is the most viewed video on that channel with 1.2 million views. In 2018 Shivers had a big game against LSU. He’s since made a somewhat good impact. Can he make a full impact in 2020? Well, he’ll have to beat out four other talented guys to win the starting job. It’s between freshman Tank Bigsby, sophomore DJ Williams, freshman Mark Antony Richards and of course sophomore Shaun Shivers. It’s safe to say Shivers is underrated because of his height. I don’t really know why he’s underrated though. We’ve seen what he can do. I mean, he’s the fastest bowling ball I’ve ever seen. Shivers is what you’d call, a dark horse. The guy is underrated, but talented and still has a great shot at winning the starting position. He’s the sleeper that everyone’s like meh… Oh and Shivers likes when defenders approach him as, meh. Because he blows their helmet off if they do. I think Shaun Shivers is definitely going to make an impact. Will he start? We’ll have to wait and see. This year a little later than we’re used to.
