Despite no sports, there is a bright side

These are strange times. Everybody’s quarantined. People are losing their jobs by the day. Everyday less food is on the table for some families. That’s a sad thing. Some people are dying daily because of a warning that was made fun of rather than followed. There’s no sports. I never though even one week of no sports would make the world so boring. We don’t even have a sliver of watchable sports. It seems that any sport would be entertaining now days. Even soccer. I hate soccer. But there is a bright side to this whole no sports thing. There are countless people watching re-airs on ESPN and watching old games on YouTube. There are people looking back and seeing greatness and history. Sports’ history never seemed so historic until now. After all, it’s all we have. We can see the greatest moments in history. All the thrillers in March Madness, the College Football miracles, the NBA’s clutchest, the NFL’s most dominant, baseball’s best walkoffs. All of it is being seen right now. It’s all right here right now. So even though there’s no sports right now, at least we can reflect on what’s changed the games that we love. The great athlete’s, the best plays, the most shocking wins. It’s magnificent isn’t it. War Eagle.
