Auburn has a lot of options at quarterback for its 2021 class. I thought their favorite passers were Kaidon Salter and Kyron Drones. But recently there’s a new name on the quarterback list that’s soaring above Salter and Drones. His name is Dematrius Davis. The Hokies commit is an all out stud. And boy when I saw his highlights, my oh my. That kid can pass, he can run, he can do it all. He’s the perfect Gus Malzahn quarterback. I can’t think of any better comparison for Davis than Miami quarterback D’Eriq King. The two are nearly identical. If you want to see what I mean, simply compare the two athletes. It’s incredible. Also, last season Davis had a very highly recruited teammate. Zachary Evans, a top ten running back recruit, played with Davis at North Shore in Texas. Auburn is obsessed with landing this guy. And for good reason. War Eagle!
