Auburn goes under the radar to pick up grad transfer lineman

Auburn’s offensive live received much needed help on Thursday evening. The Tigers landed Brandon Council, a grad transfer from Akron. This is a huge grab by Auburn and this is the most exited I’ve ever been about an offensive lineman. I can’t really say much about Council’s game because he played at a small school and stats aren’t really recorded for lineman, but I can tell you that he’s a good player. The 325 lb lineman has two years to play at Auburn. I expect him to start both years.

“Of all the schools, I felt like that was the best fit,” Council told Auburn Undercover. “They needed experience and I give them that. I’m a guy that can come solidify the offensive line and we can compete for a national championship.”

With his commitment, the Tigers have center Kaleb Kim, tackle Austin Troxell who was injured with an acl tear early in 2019, and Brandon Council as likely definite starters. War Eagle!
