When Auburn offered Alton McCaskill, it was no ordinary offer. The 3-star running back from Texas, loved his offer from Auburn, which came directly from Chad Morris.
“It’s a super college,” McCaskill said. “I always admired them as a kid. I remember watching that game, the famous Kick Six game. It was crazy. It felt super surreal.”
Last season McCaskill ran for 845 yards last season on 121 carries. The 6’1 athlete is the #44 running back in the 2021 class and ranked #596 nationally by 247 Sports.
“He said I have the skillset for their offense and that he basically likes my build,” McCaskill said.“Then, I talked to Coach Cadillac. We were just kind of getting to know each other. He said I reminded him of himself.”
It seems like McCaskill has grown up liking Auburn. And he thinks it’s a big deal to land this offer. I think he’ll end up on the Plains when it’s all said and done. Auburn wants two running backs for their 2021 class. They already have one. I think Alton McCaskill could be their second. War Eagle.
