Leonard Fournette, a former LSU running back, wants his team, the Jacksonville Jaguars, to sign Cam Newton. Personally, I don’t like the Jags. But it’s whatever. Here’s what Fournette said on ESPN.
“Cam went to the Super Bowl,” Fournette said, via ESPN.com. “He’s a great guy. I’ve been knowing Cam for a minute now. And like I told some people that talked to me, it’s no disrespect to [Gardner Minshew]. I’m just trying to get in the best position as a team as we can [to] win. That’s all that was about. Just friendly competition ’cause that brings out the best in people.”

Any thoughts on a possible delay of next fall’s college football season because of COVID-19?

There’s a very real threat if the virus doesn’t go down significantly in 2 weeks. If colleges aren’t open, there will be no College Football. Hopefully it does begin to clear up very soon though and maybe the medicine will be developed quickly so that people who haven’t had it yet don’t get infected.
