Another Tiger is going to New England. Nick Coe, the former Auburn defensive end signed with the Patriots after his Auburn teammate Will Hastings signed with New England. Coe had a very down year in 2019 after a stunning 2018 year. Coe was only a junior and with Marlon Davidson and Derrick Brown leaving, he’d have been a starter in 2020 and he could’ve mightily improved his draft stock. But it’s a risk he took. It looks as if it didn’t pay off though. But, at least he’s with a team that could use him. The Patriots have a shallow defensive end room so Coe could emerge potentially. He is now the fifth Tiger on the Patriots’ roster. Jonathan Jones, Jarrett Stidham, Brandon King, and Will Hastings are the other former Auburn players on their roster. Congrats Nick and War Eagle!
