All you need is Auburn Football but there’s a lot more to football. I’m a dye-hard Auburn fan who loves everything Auburn. But I also enjoy watching NFL football. And I have no favorite team. If you’re like me, you see no NFL teams that stand out to me. I used to route for the Carolina Panthers. But when they let go of Cam Newton, I stopped. Actually it was long before then. When Cam was declared out for the season, I was pretty bored. So anyway, I’m looking for a team. And you might be too. So let’s take a look at which teams you should route for.
Carolina Panthers

You like defense? The Panthers just snagged former Auburn star Derrick Brown. Even though Cam Newton is out, Derrick Brown is in. So maybe consider routing for this rebuilding team. They’re somewhat local.
Tennessee Titans

The Titans are a very local team. Only a few hours away from Auburn and other cities. They don’t have any Auburn star power yet. But that could change in a few years. They’ve got some cool jerseys and they’re overall a good team.
Atlanta Falcons

The Falcons are another very local team. Only an hour away from Atlanta, the Falcons have many Auburn and Alabama fans routing for them. The only problem is, their star receivers Calvin Ridley and Julio Jones played at Alabama, and their running back played for Georgia. The only talented Auburn player on their roster is Marlon Davidson.
Baltimore Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens are way up north. But they’re a cool team with a cool quarterback. Personally, I love dual threat quarterbacks. They’re quarterback is Lamar Jackson, the most dual threat quarterback in the NFL. And it helps that I’ve been to Baltimore several times.
Cam Newton’s team

I don’t know where Cam will land. But wherever he does, it’ll be an instant contender for Auburn fans. Cam is the heart and sole of Auburn’s pro stardom. I routed for his former team, the Panthers. But they gave up on him, so I gave up on them. The speculation on Cam Newton landing has died down. He’s now looking for a back up position it seems.
