Former Auburn star linebacker Deshaun Davis got a second chance in football. After an incredible journey through high school and college, Davis is looking to get some more football going. The 2019 rookie in the NFL was cut from the Cincinnati Bengals and then the Jacksonville Jaguars. Davis spent time helping AL.com in their draft profiles for the 2020 Auburn rookies. It seemed that he’d possibly become a young analyst. But Davis decided he wasn’t done playing football. Deshaun announced he’d signed with the Saskatchewan Roughriders. The Riders also have former Auburn star quarterback (now plays defensive back) Nick Marshall. Deshaun Davis has always had a talent for proving the doubters wrong. Hopefully, he can do just that in the CFL. And potentially work his way back into the NFL. As for what he’ll do after his playing career, I see no doubt he’ll become Auburn’s next linebackers coach. War Eagle!
