Today, I’ll show you Auburn’s quarterback recruiting and where they might end up. Enjoy.
Dematrius Davis – North Shore – (TX) – 6’0, 190 lbs
Auburn’s biggest target is 4-star Dematrius Davis, a dual threat star. The Houston native decommitted from Virginia Tech recently. That decision put all of Davis’ predictions to Auburn. Davis reminds me of one player in paerticular. D’Eriq King. I’ve said this over and over again but Davis has highlights that are identical to D’Eriq King’s. It’s amazing. I think predicting this one is pretty easy. He’ll probably commit to Auburn.
Ty Keyes – Taylorsville (MS) – 6’2, 205 lbs
Ty Keyes is Auburn’s best bet. The 4-star pocket passer has a very strong and rockety arm. His accuracy and drive is one to take note of. He reminds me a lot of former Auburn quarterback Jeremy Johnson. 33% of his crystal ball predictions are to Auburn. But if Auburn lands Davis, I see him committing to Mississippi State.
Kyron Drones – Shadow Creek High School – 6’2, 195 lbs
Kyron Drones, a 3-star passer from Texas is one of the more underrated quarterbacks in this class. He is committed to Baylor though. I love how he always keeps his eyes down field and doesn’t take off until he knows no one’s open. Quarterbacks who have that awareness usually do good in college. Drones plays really good teams in high school so I know he’ll be ready for college. When I see him play, he reminds me of Cam Newton’s brother Caylin Newton. They share the same style. Now, Drones seems pretty solid on his Baylor commit. So I think he’ll stay a Bear.
Will Crowder – Gardendale School (AL) – 6’3, 195
Wow. That’s what you’ll say when you see 3-star West Virginia commit Will Crowder’s highlights. He reminds me of no one except for Bo Nix. Crowder’s arm strength is valuable and his gun slinging talent is incredible. If Auburn wants to grab the next Bo Nix and let him develop under a better version of himself, Will Crowder is the way to go. Even his mobility is nearly the same as Bo Nix’s. But Crowder is pretty solid on is WVU commit. So I beleive he’ll stay a WVU commit.
