Jonathan Kuminga didn’t announce when he was scheduled to a few weeks ago. Perhaps he had a change of heart on where to go. Although that night be unlikely. He’s looking to potentially go pro in the G-League, just like Jalen Green, who Auburn barely missed out on.
Kuminga is down to Texas Tech, Auburn, Duke, and Kentucky. But of course there’s still the pro route that is most likely to claim him. Texas Tech is probably the top school on his list, but that’s just what the analysts say. Kentucky seems to have the lowest chance at Kuminga, and Duke and Auburn are about the same in the middle.
Kuminga will announce on Thursday, July 16th, at 1 p.m. CT. He is a 2021 prospect and the #1 player in the 2021 class, but will reclassify to 2020 once he chooses a school. War Eagle!
