A few days ago Auburn landed a huge commitment from 4-star safety Ahmari Harvey out of Florida State University High School in Tallahassee. The Tigers beat out Hometown school Florida State and Texas A&M to land him.
At 5-foot-10 and 171 pounds, Harvey is undersized. But he brings tremendous ball skills to the position. Harvey intercepted six passes as a junior last season and made 40 catches for 642 yards and seven touchdowns.
Looking at his highlights, I’m very surprised he isn’t a 5-star in the rankings. Harvey has some of the most explosive styles a safety can have.
