Auburn lands Rocky Top Offensive Lineman

On Thursday, Auburn Football got some good news. The Tigers have landed 3-star offensive lineman J’Marion Gooch from Tennessee. Despite being ranked #888 in the country, there’s still a lot to be exited about for him. Gooch just so happens to be one of the biggest linemen in the nation. At 6’7.5, 358 lbs, he is a monster. Hopefully Gooch can rise in the rankings and develop into a great lineman under new lineman coach Jack Bicknell. Speaking of Bicknell, this is his first ever verbal offensive line commit. This is big news for the Tigers. No, literally, it’s big news. War Eagle!

Jalen Green opts for G-League

It is now official. Jalen Green isn’t going to college. Neither Auburn or Memphis. I, along with countless others, think that the NBA is ruining College Basketball. Jalen Green would’ve been a nice addition to Auburn or Memphis. And Green would have gotten at least a year of education. Also, College Basketball is more competitive than a silly NBA G-League. The crowd noise and atmosphere is like no other basketball league. But Green wanted the money it seems. So, he got it. It’s too bad. But it’s modern basketball. I think Green is going to regret his decision. But War Eagle anyways.

Where will Jalen Green go? It’s almost official. The pro route

Jalen Green is the country’s best player in high school basketball. But he won’t play college. He’s entering the NBA G-League. Everybody is saying he’s going pro. And one tweet made that official today. Draft Express told us that Green was already informing colleges he won’t play college. If that news is official. It’s a done deal. There’s a small chance Green picks Auburn or Memphis. And now the buzz is starting to spread that even if he does, he may not play a college game. Well Auburn, at least we still have Sharife Cooper. Too bad for Jalen Green. He’s really going to miss out. War Eagle.

Jalen Green is about to go pro in the G-League

Over the last 24 hours the development has been made based on some insight and clues that Jalen Green won’t be playing college basketball. Green was down to Auburn and Memphis. But now he’s going pro. While this decision isn’t official, the web is exploding with news of this and I’d be absolutely mind blown if he chooses Auburn or Memphis. At least Auburn will finish up strong to this class ranked 8th nationally. But looks like Jalen Green is pretty much off the radar at this point. This is too bad for Auburn and Memphis fans but this is just something you have to deal with in modern college basketball recruiting. Can you really blame Green? He won’t get paid anything in college. And it’s not like he needs a better education. The man is going to be in the NBA for 15 years so I don’t think he’ll really have to make a living off of business. Green will play in the G-League for a year before entering the NBA Draft. During that year, he’ll make about $125,000. But assuming Green enters the G-League, it would be weird because this is what he told 247 Sports.

“I’ve been seeing that, and I want to let everyone know that, that is not an option,” Green said about going pro. “I’m considering college only. I’ve been looking at things saying I’m going pro, but that’s not the case, I am going to college.”

Strange right? Well, War Eagle I guess.

Jalen Green changes commitment date again

It seems that Jalen Green can’t make up his mind on what day he’ll announce his college plans. This is the second time the superstar prodigy has changed his commitment date. His original date was on Wednesday, the 15th. Then he moved it back to Friday, the 17th. Now he’s moved it to Thursday, the 16th. Hopefully that’s his final decision. He’ll announce his decision at noon Thursday. War Eagle.
