In December of 2020, as long as things work out, and they should with the pandemic, Auburn basketball will face off against the Memphis Tigers in State Farm Arena in downtown Atlanta. This will be a great top 25 match up. Anfernee Hardaway and Bruce Pearl have been in a few recruiting battles before. One of them was to land Rayjon Tucker, who committed to Memphis, but never played a game there. Another one was very recent. Jalen Green was down to Auburn and Memphis, but he decided to pick the NBA’s G-League instead. I think both teams will have a great shot at winning this game. And it will be stacked with both Auburn and Memphis fans. Auburn has a transfer from Memphis. Jamal Johnson transferred from Memphis after his freshman year. He is pictured above. Auburn’s rival is also playing in this tournament. Alabama is facing off against their non-conference rival. The Clemson Tigers. I’m interested to see who can win because this is another very even match up. I guess we’ll see in December. War Eagle!
