Ladies and gentlemen, Cam Newton is back

Cam Newton is one of the most talented players in College Football history. We all know what he did. Won a Championship with Auburn and won the Heisman Trophy along with countless other awards. He was the #1 pick in the 2011 NFL Draft by the Carolina Panthers. Newton was released by the Panthers several months ago which sparked several questions. The former NFL MVP was debated and questioned as he was left in the dust by Carolina. Rumors appeared and faded. But he has now found a new team to lead. One of the most dual threat quarterbacks in NFL history signed a one year deal.

So, the once greatest player in the NFL, is back. And that’s a scary thought. On Sunday night out of nowhere, the New England Patriots signed Superman. Recently, Cam had posted a video proving his legs and shoulders were healthy. This likely triggered the Patriots to sign him. The Patriots fans wanted Cam, and they got him. But this move was unexpected because they seemed committed to a different former Auburn Quarterback. Jarrett Stidham. But in the end, this is a dream for Auburn fans. If Cam gets hurt, Jarrett will take over. Or it could be the other way around. You see, Cam will have to win the job, and if his shoulder or legs bother him, that could cost him. We’ll see however. Newton is the seventh former Tiger on the Pats roster joining cornerback Jonathan Jones, linebacker Brandon King, defensive tackle Byron Cowart, defensive end Nick Coe, wide receiver Will Hastings, and quarterback Jarrett Stidham. #Auburn x Patriots
