News is breaking all over the country right now, as College Football is expected to be cancelled this week. It seems the NCAA has almost given up hope that they can make a season happen.
There’s only one thing that can stop what’s coming. The student athletes. Trevor Lawrence and others started a movement. The “we want to play” movement. Players are joining this movement by the hours and it’s rapidly growing. Even a few of your Tigers including Bo Nix, have joined in.
Florida running back Lorenzo Lingard made a heart breaking tweet on Sunday. “I want to play… even if we gotta be locked in .. nothing at home for me.”
Some athletes just want to play. Like Lingard, several athletes are playing the game to support family. It’s more than a game now. And to save it, every athlete needs to join the movement on Twitter, Instagram, etc.
Right now, College Football doesn’t look good. It’s the game that brings friends together. It’s the game that brings flash backs from its history. We all feel nostalgia when we see a game kick off. So, it’s up to the players now.
#WeWantToPlay

The fans will miss games but it really is sad for athletes who have worked so hard to get to where the are.
